Sheriff John P. Durante (1949-2010) The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department mourns the loss of our Sheriff John P. Durante.  Sheriff Durante (60) of Conshohocken was first elected in 1999 and re-elected in 2003 and 2007.  He passed away shortly after midnight on Wednesday, February 10, 2010.  He will be missed by all members of the department.     Alfred J.
